Arwy is a place to write, read and connect over books. These guidelines explain how to behave so that everyone — writers, readers and people you match with — feels safe. They work alongside our Content Policy.
1. Be a good human
- Be respectful. Disagree with ideas, not with people. No insults, slurs or pile-ons.
- No harassment. Don't target, threaten, stalk or repeatedly contact someone who doesn't want it.
- No hate. Attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability are never allowed.
- Protect privacy. Never share someone's real address, phone number, ID or private messages.
- Be authentic. Don't impersonate other people or brands.
2. Keep fiction clearly fiction
Arwy hosts novels, stories and dark themes. Fiction is free — but it must read as fiction, not as a real-world threat or instruction.
- Mark mature work with the right content warnings (18+, violence, sensitive themes).
- Sexual content is only between adults, and only in works marked 18+.
- Anything that sexualizes a minor is forbidden — in fiction or anywhere else.
3. Matching & messaging
- People aged 13–17 can only match with other 13–17 users. Adults can only match with adults. This boundary is enforced and cannot be bypassed.
- Treat matches and chats with respect. No sexual harassment, no pressure, no unsolicited explicit content.
- If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block and report them at any time.
4. No spam or scams
- Don't post repetitive, meaningless or purely promotional content.
- No scams, fraud, or links that try to trick people.
- Don't direct people toward illegal activity.
5. How moderation works
To keep Arwy safe at scale, we use AI-assisted moderation. When you publish a post, comment, message or chapter, an automated safety classifier checks it against these guidelines and our Content Policy.
- Most content is fine and stays exactly as you posted it.
- If the system has concerns, the content may be temporarily hidden and reviewed by a human before any final decision — AI never permanently removes content on its own.
- Serious violations (e.g. child sexual content, real threats, hate) are removed and can lead to a permanent ban.
- You can always report content that breaks these rules using the report button.
We may make mistakes. If your content was hidden or removed and you think it was a mistake, contact us at info@arwy.life and a person will look at it.
6. Consequences
- Minor issues: content hidden or removed, with a note.
- Repeated or serious violations: temporary or permanent account suspension.
- Illegal content is removed immediately and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Thanks for helping keep Arwy a place where stories — and the people who love them — can thrive.
